Outside of the busy barista, the never ending tamp tapping and lines at your favourite morning spot, we are seeing the ritual of coffee consumption and the art of it's creation become an important part of the coffee experience.

The Turkish take on coffee is the oldest coffee brewing method in the world, with 500 year old roots. It involves a stovetop cooking/boiling process that might see sweetener added, and of which includes the fine grinds, sipped slowly with friends as the sediment falls to the bottom. Read your fortune in the remaining grinds for a truly authentic experience.

Another alternate coffee style growing in popularity is Vietnamese coffee. Brought to brew at the table, the glass comes with a thick layer of condensed milk at the bottom and a stainless steel Phin Vietnamese filter sitting on top. The coffee drips into the glass, mixing with the milk. Stir when complete, and serve poured over ice if preferred.
